Bout of Books 15 - Goals and Progress

As usual, this post contains my goals and my progress during this Bout of Books. Let's see how it goes!
Goals
- To read at least 2 hours a day
- To read a minimum of 50 pages a day (yes, I am being that slow right now)

Monday (Day 1)
Time devoted to reading: 20 minutes
Pages I've read today: 10 pages of Dune, by Frank Herbert
Total pages so far: 10 pages
Books finished: none
Notes: Not so good a start... I though I would have less work than I actually had, so I only managed to read a little bit before going to bed at night. Let's see if tomorrow's better.
Time devoted to reading: 20 minutes
Pages I've read today: 10 pages of Dune, by Frank Herbert
Total pages so far: 20 pages
Books finished: none
Notes: Oh well... This is a copy/paste from yesterday. And the frustrating thing is that I am really enjoying the book but I can't find time to read it. Damn!
Wednesday (Day 3)
Time devoted to reading: 40 minutes
Pages I've read today: 20 pages of Dune, by Frank Herbert
Total pages so far: 40 pages
Books finished: none
Notes: Oh man, nothing is going according to my plan... but that's life! At least something is happening (good and productive things, at least), and that's why I am having trouble in finding time to read. Right now, I just hope I can read more in the weekend.
Thursday (day 4)
Time devoted to reading: 20 minutes
Pages I've read today: 10 pages of Dune, by Frank Herbert
Total pages so far: 50 pages
Books finished: none
Notes: Oh well, nothing to see here... move along...
Friday (Day 5)
Time devoted to reading: none
Pages I've read today: none
Total pages so far: 50 pages
Books finished: none
Notes: This day was super productive and I got many things done... except my reading. I am not disapointed at all because although I'm not having that much time to read it seems like some things in my life are finally starting to happen, and I am really happy.
Saturday (Day 6)
Time devoted to reading: none
Pages I've read today: none
Total pages so far: 50 pages
Books finished: none
Notes: This read-a-thon is not going well. These past two days it is not going at all. At least I spent almost two hours on skype talking about books... Does it count?
Sunday (Day 7)
Time devoted to reading: 2 hours
Pages I've read today: 45 pages of Dune, by Frank Herbert
Total pages so far: 95 pages
Books finished: none
Notes: I managed to read two hours today. It was really good, considering the amount of time I read during the whole week.
Wrap-Up
Another Bout of Books has come and gone! And this one did not go as smoothly as the others. It was a tough week, with a lot of things to do, many distractions and not much time left to read. I didn't achieve any of my goals and there were two days when I didn't read at all. Oh well... Better times will come, I guess!

I hear you on long work days! I have been very productive at work, but not so much on reading. Can't wait until the weekend! Hope you have a good reading weekend!
